The British Country Music Awards 2012
This years awards will once again be held at the Concord Club, Crane Lodge Road, Middlesex on Sunday 2nd September. Artists sets to appear are Charlie Landsborough, Jonny Counterfit, Darren Busby, C'est La Vie, Gary Perkins, Travellin Rose, Nancy Ann Lee and more to be announced.

Justin Moore Band and crew accident
A bus carrying Justin Moore's band and crew was involved in a fatal traffic accident early Saturday morning May 12th near Mattoon, Illinois. Justin was not on the bus at the time of the crash. A car driven by Joseph Taylor, 48, of Chicago hit the back of the tour bus at around 6am. After Joseph Taylor stepped out of the car to look at the damage, he was struck by another vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Justin wrote a Twitter message about the accident, 'Thankful my band and crew guys are all good. They got hit by a car this morning in their bus. Prayers go out to the guy who lost his life and his family. You never know man. You have to be prepared to meet God today, cause it may be your last'.
Traffic on Interstate 57 at Illinois Route 16 was re-routed for several hours because of the accident.

Carrie Underwood - New album
With out of the box sales of more than 267,000 copies Carrie Underwood's album Blown Away has been catapulted to the top of the Billboard Country and all-genres album charts this week. Also up there is her song Over You, which she co-wrote with hubby Blake Shelton this is the number one song on the songs chart.
Three new songs this week are Little Big Town with Pontoon coming in at number 51, Blake Shelton's Over at number 53 and and Montgomery Gentry's, So Called Life at number 59. The remaining Top 5 albums, in descending order, are Lionel Richie's, Tuskegee, Luke Bryan's Tailgates & Tanlines, Hard 2 Hold from Lee Brice and Kip Moore's Up All Night
